Bliptronic 5000 LED Synthesizer

$50.00 Released November, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Affordable price. Compact. Great way to introduce younger people into music production.

The Cons:Requires a semblance of musical talent not to be completely annoying. Too limited to be used as a real instrument. No MIDI or USB connectivity.

The Bliptronic 5000 LED Synthesizer is an inexpensive music synthesizer built primarily for entertainment purposes. It can produce 8-bit bleeps/bloops at varying tempos based on the buttons pressed. The whole system revolves around a constantly changing 4-beat pattern.

Where to Buy

Each button in a row represents a note from one octave. By pushing a button, a note is turned off, and vice versa. If multiple notes are pressed, then a chord is formed. The Synthesizer basically plays all notes horizontally; the ingenuity comes from turning notes on/off while the pattern still loops. Signature to the unit is that it can be attached to an infinite # of Bliptronics via link ports and cables, allowing a group of friends to create a long song where everybody takes part.

Additional Information

Additional features include tempo buttons (60-160BPM), instrument choices (8 retro-synth sounds), and volume/loop adjustments.
