The body is constructed of mahogany with a rock maple top, and comes in two faded burst color patterns. The pickups are Gibson's "BurstBucker 2" (neck) and "BurstBucker 3" (bridge), which strive to emulate the original Les Paul sounds. The neck extends deep into the guitar body, which provides strength as well as longer sustain. Only 1,959 copies of this model were produced. Overall, the gist of this guitar is to both look and sound like an original '59 Les Paul as possible.
