Epiphone Les Paul Standard
$744.00
Released January, 2011
The Pros:Has an overall good feel when you're playing, nice response. Easy to use, layout keeps everything organized and within reach. Electronics are solid, no buzz or hum.
The Cons:Fairly heavy body, need to contend with a bit of extra weight. Tends to fall out of tune regularly, need to tune it every other time it is played.
The Epiphone Les Paul Standard is the foundation from which this classic line of guitars is designed. Featuring a set-mahogany body, maple top, and a rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays, the Les Paul Standard also boast Alnico V Humbucker pickups and a Tune-o-matic bridge/Stopbar tailpiece which combine to offer excellent sustain.
