The Pros:Overall good feel, nice balance to it. Pickup is very sensitive to light strumming. Has a sweet, melodic tone perfect for balads.

It is designed with a solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, rosewood fingerboard, and a tortoise-shell pickguard. The CD-280SCE offers good playability with chrome die-cast tuners and D'Addario Phosphor Bronze strings. It also includes scalloped X bracing and differs with the CD-280S since it includes Fender's FTE3-TN onboard preamp with a built-in chromatic tuner.
