Fender Super-Sonic 22 Combo

$1,400.00 Released July, 2010

Product Shot 1The Fender Super-Sonic 22 Combo is a mid-cost 22 watt guitar amplifier. Fender promotes this amp as offering saturated distortion without comprimising the sound of your guitar. The Vintage channel of this amp (which has two switchable voices) allows you to access classic Fender tube amp tones, while the Burn channel will give you more modern distorted sounds.

The birch/maple plywood cabinet of the 22 Combo makes for a full, resonant tone. The dual cascading-gain preamp overdrive of the 112 Combo helps to give this amp lots of sustain and compression. Though it has the 4-button footswitch and ivory knobs of the flagship 60 Combo, this amp is a step down from the higher cost 112 Combo in that it is 22 watts as opposed to 60 watts, and has a 12" Lightning Bolt speaker instead of a 12" Celestion. There are color options available for the Fender Super-Sonic 22 Combo guitar amplifier.
