Modern modifications include 3 single-coil pickups, a satin-backed neck and medium-jumbo frets. These additions give the Hot Rod ’62 a modernized tone and feel, while maintaining its traditional appearance. The body features a contoured alder construction, while the neck is made of thick C-shape maple. The fingerboard has a radius of 9.5” and is crafted out of rosewood. A 5 position blade is included to facilitate selectable switching modes. Players have the choice of 2 different color designs: 3-Color Sunburst and Olympic White. A brown hardshell case is included.
