The Gibson Doves In flight Acoustic Guitar is a high-end limited edition acoustic designed by Master Luthier Ren Ferguson. The Doves In Flight features 28 individually engraved doves which Gibson claims are "all hand cut from genuine abolone and mother of pearl".

The fingerboard is constructed of ebony and also features sixteen of the engraved doves. Gibson states that the rolled edge design of the fingerboard provides a more comfortable feel for the user.
Additional features of the Doves In Flight guitar include hand engraved Grover tuners with a 14:1 gear ratio all of which include moving parts cut for exact meshing. The guitar body is a square shoulder dreadnought design with a top constructed of AAA-grade Sitka spruce and back and sides of AAA-grade curly maple. The Doves In Flight acoustic guitar also features a hand-scalloped radiused top bracing inside the body and a double-ring rosette with an abolone-filled middle.
