The Gibson Pete Townshend SJ-200 is built with a L.R. Baggs element active acoustic pickup system which comes with a transducer that is more reliable than standard transducers out on the market. The bracing is hand scalloped and supports the large surface of the guitar, allowing the guitar to deliver a deeper sound. Like the rest of the members of the super jumbo line, the the Townshend comes with a double-ring rosette that is more decorative than anything else, but is still a nice addition to the soundhole.
