Gibson Robert Johnson L-1
$2,793.00
Released January, 2010
The Pros:Must-have collector's model - inspired many modern Gibson acoustics. Optimized for fingerstyle playing - low action and wider string spacing appeal to classic picking styles. Unique "The Gibson" headstock inscription is reminiscent of early 1900's Delta acoustics - not present among any other models.
The Cons:Natural volume output is somewhat restrained - likely a result of the mahogany back/sides. 18-fret design may be somewhat limiting to advanced players - most acoustics feature 20+ frets.
The Gibson Robert Johnson L-1 is a classic six-string acoustic guitar that has a unique look and sound because of the quality materials it's constructed with. A high-quality model, the guitar has a 14-fret body style and a Solid Sitka spruce top and Mahogany neck that has an extremely comfortable feel to it.
