Gibson SG Special Raw Power

The SG Specil Raw Power is a mid-range electric guitar from Gibson, released in late 2009. This “Special” edition is a modified version of the SG Standard, defined by its lack of trimmings and other fine stylistic details.

Like the Standard, this Gibson has a solid mahogany body, has a ‘50s style rounded neck with dot inlays and a pair of 490 humbucking pickups. 22 frets span the fingerboard, while a Tune-O-Matic bridge and stop bar keep the strings in place. In terms of sound, this guitar has been designed for modern music with its soft, warm and balanced tones. The nitrocellulose finish sets this guitar apart from its competitors, as most manufacturers opt for a less vibrant polyurethane finish. Two color choices are available; Heritage Cherry or Ebony.
