Wow, that's some crazy breakage! I'd never heard of them breaking either.

I've had mine (a silver colored one) for over 10 years and I use it daily and it's showing no sign of wear. I've used the bar kind that strap around the neck and a kind where the clamp levers are behind the neck but I prefer the Kyser Quick Change to these. It clamps with decent strength for no string buzz and it works on all my acoustic and electric guitars just fine.

Special K: #kyser_quick_change_capo I've never heard of these capos breaking like that, but 2 breaking within 4 days is pretty crazy. Maybe you are just far stronger than you think! Haha.. Check out the Reell G7th Performance Guitar Capo. It's a little more pricey, but looks like a very well made product. Feb 7, 07

taylor96: #kyser_quick_change_capo have had two of these for several years.. however in the past four days the aluminum spring has broken on both of them during normal use.. now I dont think I like them anymore. Dec 20, 06
