Product Shot 1The D-15 is an acoustic guitar from Martin. Like Martin's entire 15 series, the D-15 is the kind of guitar that will be most satisfying to professional players. The solid/square taper headstock helps to provide the kind of solid tone you need from an acoustic when you want to be heard.

Intricate details will also come through thanks to this classic headstock design. The neck material of the D-15 is select hardwood, which works to the same end as the headstock: a solid, clear tone. The A-frame "X" top bracing pattern also helps out with the tone. This bracing ensures that the D-15 will be good to those who value fingerpicking and slide picking. If you like to play country, folk, or blues, the D-15 will likely serve you well. The tortoise-colored pickguard serves as a nice compliment to the satin finish. Overall, the reviews of the Martin D-15 have been very positive.
