Martin D-42

The Martin D-42 is a classic and genuine six-string acoustic guitar that produces a quality sound due to its construction. Introduced in the 1960s', the guitar has a 14-fret body style and solid East Indian Rosewood back and sides with a genuine mahogany neck.

Since its created around quality and a classic look, feel and sound, the instrument has a solid Sitka spruce top, a solid East Indian Rosewood headplate, gold butterbean tuners and a solid black ebony fingerboard. Because of its popularity and its quality, the guitar has had other models released under the names of musicians such as Peter Frampton.
