The Martin JC-16RGTE Aura is a standard acoustic/electric guitar that's made with different materials to help create a clear and powerful sound that's ideal for musicians of all genres. The instrument features a 14-fret body style that's accompanied by a solid Sitka spruce top and a Herringbone rosette.

Since the company is known for using some of the best materials, the guitar has solid East Indian rosewood back and sides and a select hardwood neck. Since it is an acoustic/electric instrument, it uses the Aura Sound Imaging onboard system and has features such as volume and blend control and anti-feedback control.
