The CD players can handle standard discs and CD-Rs, allowing custom mixes and tracks to be used. The anti-shock system creates a buffer as the CD plays, ensuring that no skipping will occur during playback. Beat detection aids in creating seamless loops, and the multifunction jog wheels can be used for pitch bending or basic shuttle functions.
