The Pros:Works well for every kind of voice, don't have to worry about your range. Picks up low frequencies very well. Makes any voice sound rich and full.
The Cons:Have to be careful not to get right up to the mic or the proximity effect is noticeable.
The Sennheiser e 865 is a condenser microphone built for use in a live performance. The frequency response range of 40 to 20,000 Hz is smoothly reproduced throughout allowing for rich vocal signals, and the super-cardioid pickup pattern cuts through other on-stage levels to focus solely on the subject it is pointed at.
