Shure Beta 52A

The Shure Beta 52A is a high output dynamic microphone specially designed for kick drums and other bass instruments. A modified supercardioid pattern ensures the highest possible gain-before-feedback ratio as well as rejection of ambient or unwanted sound, while the tailored frequency response gives it extra punch with strong attack even at high SPL levels.

If the microphone is to be placed inside a kick drum, a built in dynamic locking stand adapter with XLR connection makes for easy installation. The stand adapter keeps the microphone position fixed and resists slipping, even standing up to sharp blows and strong vibrations that might occur in a live performance. The Beta 52A also comes with a hardened steel mesh grille for maximum protection and endurance.
