Shure SM27

The SM27 is a side-address condenser microphone from Shure.  The microphone has a uniform cardioid polar pattern to provide high off-axis rejection and making it suitable for either in-studio or on-stage.

  It offers a wide frequency response of 20 to 20,000 Hz with a flat, neutral response curve for accurate sound reproduction.  The SM27 is designed with durable metal components and has a large low-mass Mylar diaphragm for improved transient response.  It also includes a 3-position low-frequency filter to reduce background noise and three separate mesh layers to reduce wind and breath noise.  The microphone comes with a zipper pouch and stand adapter and has a 2 year limited warranty.
