Tascam DR-03

The Tascam DR-03 is a portable handheld digital audio recorder. It uses a basic stereo omni condenser microphone design that enables recordings of environmental audio, but is limited to a 48 kHz sampling rate that prevents the recordings from being satisfactory for true enthusiasts.

Processing is handled in 24-bit mode, and can be recorded to WAV or directly to MP3 format on an included 2GB microSD card. Auto-recording, variable speed audition, and loop playback modes are all built in, and a number of filters are also included to adjust recording for specific types of environments. 1/8 inch jacks for microphone and headphone are built in, and a USB 2.0 connection is enabled for file transfers.
